My husband and I seen Barnes Crossing in Starkville, MS had a sale going on so we browsed their online inventory before going to the dealership. We could never get an ASKING PRICE on the vehicle until they ran our credit. After running our credit the guy tells me it is $9,000 more than what the advertised asking price of the vehicle was. After me showing him the advertised pricing he said oh yeah you're right but if we sale it for that price you won't receive the $4,000 rebate. BULL BULL BULL... will never be back to this dealership again. They get a ZERO star review from us.

Just bought a car from here, we had the car brought from Tupelo to Starkville. After arriving to look at and go over they tried to change the interest rate .8. Didn’t and wouldn’t fill take up, just all around bad service. Had several people tell me not to go here but they had the car I wanted. Heard an older man tell another older man to get out and stop waisting his time. Because he was asking questions. I wanted to walk out right then.

After carefully reading reviews, the few bad ones that I see were mainly the same thing. They are a car dealership not magicians!!! There is also a disclaimer that comes at the bottom of the Flyers and the Internet posts. So ppl if you have a 400-550 score with some recent bad activity then that’s on you not Barbers Crossing! Plus if you end up purchasing a car with bad credit and recent activity, that interest rate will be high, your notes are hard to negotiate without proper down payment. You may end up being upside down for a while. These ppl deliver like they say and of course some will be more pushy than others, they have families to feed and need to eat themselves.nnFast forward:nThey came down to the MS coast, I believe I didn’t spend more than 2 hours total at the lot and I had my car. 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe with extremely low mileage. You have to be realistic based on your unique credit situation. I felt like they were negotiating for my business not the other way around. I wasn’t desperate. I got a great deal, great interest rate, and a 43in smart tv for purchasing a car. Thanks Paul, Trent, and I’m sorry I can’t remember your name but thanks to the guy who loves to wear Black and Gold. Y’all were awesome!

I go to get an oil change. I get there about 5 minutes to 8am. They opens at 8. I wait in car in the service line- only car there. No one never comes out to ask if I need service. 15 minutes later I get out go into main lobby and asked this man if I am in the right place for an oil change. He said yes but the woman that operates the service office has a doctor's appointment. She would be back after 12 today, come back then. Ridiculous there are men in shop but no one had the decency to come and tell me this. Plus that tells me no work can be done on cars until this woman gets back and she's not the one changing the oil. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
