Beautiful pull-off stop off of the Natchez Trace nearest to Verona, MS. Lush green with beautiful trees and a picnic bench too. Serene little stop with two historical markers/plaques depicting the area's history. Clean and quiet. Definitely provided plenty of photo opportunities and the peacefulness I so needed.

Wonderful spot for picnic. In Spring time, the area is filled with wildflowers and butterflies.

This is a historic site on a section of the Natchez Trace near Verona, MS in which there is a half circle-shaped vehicle pull-off for travelers to exit off the Trace highway and read the large wooden plaque alongside a smaller podium sign detailing the historic event that took place there. In addition are two picinic benches and a BBQ grill for travelers to picinic and enjoy the thick trees encompassing this area. The entire Trace is well maintained and the care put in it is obvious. The various trees standing in this designated spot have their own unique characteristics to be seen along with the subtle yet definite sense of spiritual energy from its history calmly lingers here, giving one a quiet, clean, and peaceful piece of nature to take a moment with.
