I would like to thank the gentlemen at this firehouse for their kindness. On my trip to Boston my 16 year old son wanted a shirt from this firehouse and a friend and I walked.....yes walked from Battery street at the wharf to this firehouse for a t-shirt. I remember when I was seven or eight, about ten or eleven years ago, when I visited this station and the firemen let me steer the fire truck while it moved forward a couple of feet (with me sitting on a fireman's lap). It was an experience I will never forget!
