The folks who operate this sanctuary are the most loving, caring professionals you will ever have the good fortune to find in the animal rescue field!
They helped in a way that nobody else could. A wonderful dog, truly the smartest that I've ever known, was able to find refuge when circumstances prevented me from being able to care for him any longer. For those looking for a new pet or possibly somewhere to do volunteer work....consider giving them a call. Rome is a Borador. Smart, human-like, and definitely a life worth saving. No fancy papers, no pedigree, but truly a one-of-a-kind!
They love animals
The place looks very nice from the outside, we couldn't get in the gate is locked, I called, several times and no one will ever answer the phone. If they would like for their animals to find forever home, then taking a phone call, and unlocking the gate so family's can get in to talk would be a great start. Their website is not good at all, I never saw any animals on it for adoption.
Was very impressed with this no kill shelter. Very friendly people. Took in our 6 puppies and immediately vaccinated and wormed them. Puppies had their own building and outside playground with a little pool. I've never seen a cleaner pet friendly shelter.
