Homewood Suites by Hilton Hagerstown

Super clean and very friendly staff! We stayed Christmas Eve so it was pretty quiet. Worked very well for our needs because they are pet friendly. They really take great care in keeping up with the cleanliness of the property.

Really enjoyed staying here. Everything was sanitized. Loved having the separate bedroom. Convenient to restaurants. Perfect for carry out. Would definitely stay there or at another one. Highly recommend.

The kids and I did a staycation for spring break. Called and asked for early check in, could not accommodate, no problem. Upon check in asked for late check out (just one hour) immediately was told they don’t slow that. I mentioned when I booked they said if room was not rented after a late check out would be possible, but ok. The room was nice , we got the 2 bedroom king queen suit , very good layout. However, the room was musty smelling, the remote was wrapped and “sanitized” only there was green sticky candy on it, the trash can had old yogurt splattered in it all over the insides and bottom, pulled the curtains back to open and so much dusty flew everywhere the tables were covered. Took the kids to the very nice pool and great hot tub (both were heated as advertised) there were some type of pipes laying all around and the utility door with fans and stuff left wide open so we listened to the loud thunder sound from that room the whole time we were at the pool, and last at about 1030 I was outside tried to come back in and my digital key stopped working, the lady at front desk said that’s been happening a lot lately and gave me a regular key. And the big kicker of the whole thing was I got a print out recipe that my room was $306.23 and they charged me $407.24 , was told it would be immediately refunded and it’s the next day I still have no confirmation a refund was issued. Hilton are the only hotels I ever stay in because they are always clean and every single staff member is so friendly and helpful. The overnight girl at the front desk was very very sweet, helpful and apologetic, the manager earlier that day, when I asked to speak to her while she was sitting in the table area watching tv, would get you to talk to me and said at the end if my stay there would be a survey , no offers to help with any of the issues. This stay makes me so sad, the kids and I always take mini local staycations and this suite is the perfect space for the get away but I couldn’t come back here, I have no confidence of a nice stay, I honestly felt like I was in a sleazy motel, I actually went to Walmart to buy a blanket and pillow because the pullout sofa was that bad ! I really hope Hilton sees this review and follows up- that hotel , the layout and the location would be a big hit if it was taken care of and had a staff who cared.

Great place to stay. Clean and very nice.

The hotel is beautiful . Basketball court, grill area , fire pit and indoor pool. Only problem is our first we were awakened by bed bugs. They then moved us to another room. As soon we entered we noticed this room had roaches ! We were shocked because we’ve stayed here before and I love all of the homewood suites. This go round they were def lacking on the cleanliness. They reimbursed me so that good. But they need to get their cleaning game up to par.
