We went in late September when the leaves were starting to change and it was gorgeous. Only a 3 hour drive from DC, we arrived to a fully equipped, very clean, organized and comfortable house with an amazing view. The kids loved it and did not want to leave. The kitchen had everything we needed -- even a blender for me to make my smoothies.nnThe family room has a beautiful stone fireplace with 2 huge comfortable couches -- one that pulls out. My 3 kids loved watching the fire and tv while lying on the pull out sofa.nnThe kids' room is on the bottom level with a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom. There is also a pull out sofa on the bottom level with a pool table and a hot tub right outside!nnThe middle level has a beautiful kitchen that opens to a family room with a fireplace and gorgeous view of the lake.nnUpstairs is a Queen bedroom and a King bedroom. The King bedroom has a spectacular view.nnMany beautiful hikes close by! Good restaurants too. Perfect place for families.

We had a chance to stay at this lovely home on a nice fall weekend. The location is excellent. It was a very comfortable floorplan for our family and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped and I enjoyed cooking in it. The hot tub was fantastic and the lake views were very pretty. I have already recommended the house to friends. We also appreciated the owners responsiveness and recommendations for restaurants and hiking in the area. Can't wait to go back!

We had the opportunity to stay at this lovely home this Summer with our teenage/young adult children and they couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it! Such a great location and so much for everyone to enjoy, while having a beautiful view. We have all agreed that we can't wait to go back, and will definitely be staying here again!

We rented this for Halloween weekend to distract our kids from a Halloween in quarantine. Everyone absolutely loved the view and the area! We enjoyed hiking and relaxing. This place is perfect for a socially distant vacation and we hope to book again in January if it is available!

Everything about this place was PERFECT! We watched the sunrise over the mountains every morning from the picture window in the master bedroom. The location is close to everything on the lake. The home had everything we needed and the host was super easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!
