Props to this place!nnClean & modern. Fridges are good size and the rooms are big enough for 6 to hang out in.nnStaff is super nice and accommodating, pain-free stay.nnIf you want coffee before the attached diner opens at 8am, go down the street 1 minute to Sheetz. No coffee maker, yes Microwave.nnVery good value overall. Close to Wisp Ski Mountain, and right across the street from 2 convenience stores.
I loved this motel. Very clean and great staff. I had the pleasure of conversing with the owner Andrew a few times and he is such an amazing and down to earth guy. I can't wait to go back to Swallow Falls and Deep Creek and stay at the Oak Mar motel. It is within a mile of Walmart and all your favorite fast food, restaurants, and liquor stores are in walking distance.
Nice home town motel. Good home cooking at the 3rd st diner. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of convenient shopping nearby.
Older gentleman this morning was the most helpful and friendly I've ever met, wish I caught his name. My wife and I appreciate the great service and hospitality. I would certainly recommend oak Mar to my friends and family.
An adorable hotel. Quiet and great location in downtown Oakland.
