Such a cozy and friendly place, and right on the lake! There's a gym and sauna in the basement as well as a free DVD rental machine! I love how our room had a gas fireplace and a small balcony overlooking the lake. There's a big deck outback to relax and take in the lake views as well. It was a perfect getaway. Really clean environment too. I loved how they had an ice machine as well as a water fountain in the hall. Not to mention a really tasty restaurant is right next door!

Delightful lodge-style suites right on Deep Creek Lake and the perfect place to stage for skiing at Wisp.nnThe charming suites are minutes from all the nice restaurants, state parks, and ski resort.nnThe lobby deserves special recognition as it had that wonderful, mountain lodge feel to it. Walking in is so inviting.nnThe suite we had was equipped with a nice gas fireplace and kitchen. All cooking utensils were present, plus a toaster and Keurig. There was also a microwave and dishwasher.nnThe living area is super cozy and the view of the lake is stunning! Ours had a sleeper sofa as well.nnThere is also a reception area and I found the staff to be very helpful.nnI just took one star off as the walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors quite clearly along with the guests upstairs clomping around. I also noted cigarette butts left on the balcony, even though smoking is not permitted anywhere near the property.nnLuckily, after 9pm, things got nice and quiet.nnTip: try the Dutch's Daughter restaurant just next door. The interior is gorgeous and you can dine in or take out. The food is divine.

Gorgeous little place on the lake!! Amazing views of the lake and surrounding area. I have stayed here at least 5 times. The property is beautiful. The rooms are great. The front desk is very personable and friendly. But the view keeps me coming back! Absolutely love this place. We try to stay here whenever there is availability!!

Lobbies and grounds are very nice. The room, 318A, was AWFUL. 1 bedroom w/loft. Outdated and old!! Owner needs to renovate. Sleeper sofas were mostly springs and no mattress. Drapery to balcony was inoperable so very hard to even open. We were told there wouldn’t be “curtain service” til January. The service only comes 1x month and had already been there for Dec. No stopper for outdated shower/tub (we had grandkids with us). Sink hardly drained when using. Fireplace went out mid-Stay and front desk lady said it would be a day or two before they could look at it. The carpet is old and worn throughout. Barely enough utensils. One sharp knife. Dirty old toaster. Table was so wobbly we were afraid it would collapse. Mgr did tighten it the next day. Unit sleeps 6 but 2 chairs at dining table. Really should have a couple folding available. Had to eat in shifts. Each unit is individually owned (as we were repeatedly told by the front desk when they were unhelpful) so other units might be much nicer as seen in photos. Steer clear of 318A. Nothing upscale or luxourios. We made the best of our 4 night stay in this cheap hotel room.
