Railey Vacations

This was an absolutely wonderful vacation home. The suites with bathrooms is a must have for my crew. The walk to the lake is short and easy. The fire pit was an absolute delight...and the hot tub was great. The big jacuzzi tubs inside the house were phenomenal as well. I would definitely rent this home again. Both check in & out was very easy.

For the second year in a row we rented a cabin in Deep Creek through Railey Vacations. This is a fantastic vacation rental company. Very professional and very thorough. This year I forgot to sign my confirmation paperwork, which would have prevented our group from checking in at our cabin. Michelle from Railey Vacations emailed me the morning on the day we were to check in and alerted me. Since we were already on the road, Michele assisted me in getting the paperwork signed and on file. Both vacations were fantastic and the cabin we rented were great. We had a great time. Maintenance for a minor problem was prompt and quick. A few updates are needed. New furniture and a pantry for food storage would be helpful. Hot tub was amazing and well taken care of. Outside was amazing! Would highly recommend a friend. Railey was outstanding with any questions or problems we had.

Stayed at Enchanted Lakefront for Christmas. House was as advertised, acceptably clean and very spacious. The layout and amenities were perfect for our extended family gathering. A good amount of firewood was provided - although we went through all of it and then some during our 5 night stay. The kitchen was well appointed in terms of pots and pans. Most rental homes have little in terms of basic kitchen staples but this house had literally nothing.nnInteraction with Railey was primarily through the website but my one phone call with the office was handled well on their end. Overall the experience was streamlined and painless.nnWe would definitely rent this house again and wouldn’t hesitate to work with Railey again.

Lots of pros and cons at Creature Comforts. Our house was big enough to fit 3 families and the location was awesome. Dock was very nice, but it was very rocky in the shore and not accessible for small children.nWhen we arrived around 3:45 the cleaning crew told us they had JUST started and our check in time was 4:00. They finished around 5:00 so we had to sit outside and wait. Also concerned about how quickly they cleaned, however we told them to take their time because we wanted it done right. Inside was nice, but had disgusting stains all over the entire house rug. TV downstairs did not work at all, dishwasher drawer fell out every time you Tried to load dishes, pull out drawer in fridge was totally broken, lifted up a couch cushion to get a toy and it was horrific.nTo top it all off, the AC broke for over 24 hours. Maintenance came rather quickly after I called and he assured us it was frozen and would work after 5 hours. We ended up going overnight with no AC, and when we called first thing in the AM we were told someone would be there “shortly.” They did not come until 3:00 that afternoon. When my mother in law called around noon to ask when the ac person was coming, the person she spoke to was incredibly rude to her.nAlthough we had so many issues, the kids loved the lake and had a great time. We have been coming here for 5 years and have not used Railey before, and unfortunately will not be using them again.
