Bummed that the nature center was closed but this is a beautiful park on the lake and it was a nice treat for the family to check out the aviary. Also, lots of trails.

I enjoy seeing the resident birds.at.the aviary. Red tailed hawk, barred owl, gr at horned own, bald eagle, peregrine falcon. The volunteers are so friendly and informative. Go check it out.

I have been going to Deep Creek Lake for years and I always make this one of my 1st stops and grab their Calendar. They have free to low cost activities for the whole family. The staff is knowledgeable about local wildlife and history.

So cool the nature displays they have. Very educational for everyone. I would love to see this expanded! The little giftshop was cute too but needed a good re stock of the items I wanted to buy. I cant wait to revisit soon!

We visit the discovery center every summer and love it. The staff is always so nice, friendly and welcoming. I would like to see a bigger section of souvenirs.
