South River High School

Had one son graduate from this school in 2016 after attending all 4 years there. Almost without exception, the teachers went the extra mile to assist with his learning requirements. He is a special needs child and without their diligence and tenacity he would not have passed. Not sure why the other parents had trouble scheduling meetings. I have never had difficulty. Of special note is Ms Wasserman, who truly went above and beyond. Currently have another son enrolled there.

One of the better schools in the county. Students are for the most part well mannered and respectful. The floor layout can be confusing and maze like but the programs offered are good, and as a sub I feel like the students are prepared well for the real world with few of the moral grandstanding you find elsewhere.

Terrible school. Most of the staff is awful especially administration. The children can walk off campus without issues and they could care less. Asked for meetings and they don't care. Took 2 kids out of the school and they both did great at New school.

My daughter is dealing with a lot of issues at this school. It's a little bit of a rougher crowd than where we came from (Western Howard County.) We are moving back there this summer.

I want Crofton high school to be built so I never have to go there
