First time customer.nnSelection is a bit limited for Fresh Water, but the place looks clean, the staff is helpful, and the prices are reasonable. They actually have the Flying Foxes separate from the Siamese Algae Eaters.nnAND, so far, the fish I bought are alive, unlike a place I went to closer to home that brought Ich into my tank and killed almost everything.nnOnly concern at this time is the Paradise Gorami I bought. I don't know where it is. Can't tell if it's dead or just hiding, and I just got the tank set up nicely again and Really don't want to move things around. Hope it comes out soon. That being said, that's not the stores fault if it's hiding.nnAnyway, I'll be going back.

Knowledgeable, helpful when not too busy, and never try to sell you stuff you don't need. Fish are generally healthy. They try to source corals and freshwater plants locally to keep prices down. Understandably the coral selection seems to be the faster selling items. Nothing too fancy, usually. I'll keep going there for advice and fish/gear.

This place is great. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable; willing and able to answer all my questions. Additionally, CTE Aquatics always seems to have what I need. You can can even get RO/DI water, in either fresh or saltwater. At the time of this review, they use Red Sea Coral Pro Salt mixed @ 1.025 / 35ppt for their pre-mixed saltwater.

CTE is a nice small store, that is great for beginners. They propagate in-house corals which supports sustainable aquacultural practices that ultimately save our reefs AND they can provide these common corals a very reasonable prices. They seem to stock all the necessary life support tools including mainstream lights, filters and supplements. The tanks are a little messy and not pest-free... But hobbyists can overlook this with proper quarantine procedures.
