Great combination of wood trail one direction and asphalt trail the other. This allows those with unsure footing, roller blading or strollers the easy path option but still a good workout.
Scenic trail to walk.a safe place to walk out of the rangers if traffic.

Great trail, plenty of shade. The paved part to the north that connects to cook park is great!
I am enjoying this trail so much!!!! It’s great in the Fall when the leaves are changing! I love the history of the trail as well. The Chautauqua stop on the railroad took passengers to Chautauqua in Toma Lodge in the 1800’s. Very cool!
