Saw this place on Uber Eats, wanted to support local and glad I did!! Food arrived quickly and still was piping hot. We had two orders of the White Beans (one with mac/yams, one with mac/cabbage). Food was awesome with great flavor! Super glad we gave this place a try, and will definitely be ordering again!nnOne thing I might do differently, maybe add a small pack of butter for the cornbread. Just a thought. Everything else was perfect!

Best fried pork chops and candied yams and the mac n cheese I've had in my life! ... I came looking for local food and thk the lord I found this lil gem if you come visiting New Orleans make sure to make time to stop in. And enjoy. Next time I come again this is a most definitely stop.

When using the expression wined and dined this restaurant has outdone any other from around the world. Old world elegance to delicious mouth watering cuisine. Service is unbelievable and chef prepares food that cannot be topped. If you would like an unforgettable experience this is the place to go. Then there is the bar area across with great music and ambiance. This hotel exceeds the Ritz Carlton reputation. Cannot wait to dine there again!

Decided to give this place a try & ordered on Uber eats. My food arrived super fast & still hot. My Uber driver even asked me what did I order because it smelled so good in her car. Haha, food was bomb (Tuesday/ smothered okra w 2 sides) just added a lil hot sauce on my okra and I was set! Great portions size for the price , I couldn’t even finish it all. It also came with cornbread! wish it was a tad bit sweeter but that’s just my preference & the yams were delicious! Will be ordering from here again!nnI wish I could’ve taken a better pic but I was hungry ud83dude29

The guy at the counter, without a mask, were extremely rude. I walked in to ask for a menu for future orders, and before I can speak he said NOT ACCEPTING ORDERS. Well I guess I always pass it up for a reason. That will always be black business issues, they want support from their people but treat those same people like trash. Not interested in the food now.
