This is such a beautiful garden and it’s so beneficial for its surrounding community! Provides free produce in what is nearly a food desert. Love this place and cannot believe anyone would think it’s acceptable to tear down for an apartment complex. :(

The walnut people’s garden is such an important community resource! So grateful for its existence and all the folks that maintain it
The Walnut People's garden is a community food source & a haven for local wildlife. Native wildflowers attract butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, including monarchs. While this land was previously neglected and used as a dumping zone, creating a constant eyesore for our community of renters, this garden now serves the community as a local, sustainable food source.
