New ownership is terrible, overpricing on all items. Wine selection is minimal and expensive. If your wine also happens to be corked/oxidized and undrinkable dont bother going back to the store, they will tell you to pound sand. Overall bad experience since the new ownership, nothing positive for the neighborhood.

I come here all the time and have been purchasing beer here all year. Today I didn't have my ID and a new employee refused to serve me while one of the owners, who has been selling to me all year, looked on and said nothing, didn't even apologize. Terrible service. No one should shop here!nnI also second others' complaints about overall rudeness and not labeling items on various other occasions.

just bad all around. they refuse to put prices on anything , either on the product of on the shelf thats has barcode stickers , i asked him about the prices he said they we fixing them , 4 weeks later had to go in again still no prices, another employee was there i asked her , she just said ask the boss... never going back, there is a much nicer market just down the street huntington market. the guys dont give a sh#t , i have never seen a store like that before. i hate to write a review like this but im 37 years old and never been into a store that refuses to put prices on items so they can charge whatever they want and few people will question it.

New owners ruined this place. Won't be going back, extremely disappointing to see a great local store get stripped of all it's charm. Prices also went way up with the new owners, avoid this place it's not worth it.

Great local general store. Worth a trip and frequenting it because they are a valuable and friendly part of the community. The owner gave me an item I really needed for free because I didn't have enough to pay for it that day, telling me to simply come back another time. I've never felt so welcomed in a store and it made me feel more comfortable in the whole neighborhood. Their prices are a little high but I'm happy to support a local business when I can afford it.nnDry cleaning M/W/F. Not very good dry cleaning though.
