Horrible pharmacy. My partner tried to fill a new prescription for pain medication for our senior dog with hip dysplasia and arthritis, which can be filled at a regular pharmacy. He also had additional veterinary paperwork with him for extra verification. The pharmacist treated him like a drug addict and told him that it was too high of a dose for a dog, that a vet wouldn't RX that much, and insisted on it while being very rude. Dogs metabolize medications at a different rate than humans, and the pharmacist is not trained in veterinary pharmacology. They argued with my partner and he took the RX back to fill somewhere else. It was frustrating to him as a hispanic male who gets negative assumptions like this made about him. All the pharmacist had to do was call the vet to verify the RX, which is commonly done, and we expected that to be the case given how pain meds are abused, hence the paperwork we provided. When I called them after, they claimed they told him "We don't carry that dosage here." which is absolutely not true, because a simple "I apologize, we don't have that in stock" would not have upset my partner and made him feel awful, so I call absolute B.S. on that. My vet confirmed with me that a pharmacist cannot deny a prescription based on the dose *they think it should be*, as they are *not physicians*. Protocol is to call the prescribing doctor to verify. My vet informed me they have previously reported another pharmacist for similar behavior, and they were not happy with this situation. Treating situations this way and then lying about it to CYA is not okay.

I went here the other night, granted it was almost 1am but I happened to be passing by and went in specifically looking for a cosmetic I ran out of. I walked in and the two ladies stood by the door like security guards. They questioned me as soon as I walked in, "can we help you?" in this accusatory tone. The next man who walked in, she did the same to. As if she had a problem with us coming in. I like the store itself but one of the two women made me so uncomfortable. One actually stood at the end of the aisle just watching me as I combed the beauty aisle, then she would walk away and come back. Then she would go around to the other aisle trying to look discreet again, to watch me. They clearly thought I was stealing which I understand but I've never felt so uncomfortable and sort of offended in a store as if I truly was doing something wrong. I ended up buying over $50 worth of products but I don't think I'll be shopping here again.

So, the signs all over the building say open 24 hours but the website says you are closed right now. I’m trying to get prescriptions for someone who is sick and it’s 430 in the morning. I called the phone number and the message machine guy tells me you’re open at 8 AM. I’m not going to go over there if your answer machine says you are closed and I can’t get through even though both your website and your sign says you’re open. Which is it? I’m going to Walgreen’s across the street. They at least answer my call.
