Talavera at the Junction Apartments & Townhomes

Great staff, great management, great living space...Talevera is a really nice spot. The staff are very understanding to your needs and try to work out issues with you as best they can. George is a real one and had my back when I messed up on paying rent one time. Got a late fee because I forgot to put the correct amount in my checking account (I'm very good at this whole adulting thing as you can clearly see). Got it waived and everything. It was a good day. It was my first late payment so I don't expect to get the same treatment next time for my mistakes and you shouldn't either. All in all it's a good place to be, and that's a fact.

Talavera was great! The townhomes are super stylish and are in great condition. Also, these apartments are right next to the Jordan Parkway, which is a huge perk if you are an avid cyclist. Maintenance is really professional and always took care of things in a timely fashion (almost always less than 24 hours). The property is well maintained with plenty of room for kids to play. Also, Talavera is located in a really convient location, making it really easy to get to a number of great spots across the valley.

If you are new to the area, this a great place to start looking. I am not a tenant at Talavera but I dropped by the leasing office to inquire about availability and George helped me locate another property that suited my schedule and budget. Thank you George I enjoyed our chat and I appreciated the excellent recommendation.

I have lived at Talavera for two full years and am moving out at the end of the month. Finally. The experience has been marginal at best. The office staff is fairly friendly except there is high rate of turnover so you never know who is going to be in the office and/or if they will remember you. The maintenance is responsive except they don't really fix things completely. I've had a bathroom light fixture that STILL remains broken after over a year, although it's been "replaced." Since living here we've had to replace the water heater, microwave, dryer, repaired the washer, dishwasher, and had several lighting issues. Then there's parking. It's a nightmare. First, the office ( because of the high turnover) doesn't police paid parking stalls so if maintenance, cleaning, a guest, or even another tenant happens to park in the tenant's paid stall, it's up to the tenant to enforce use their own parking space. Second, there is no parking available if tenants don't have a parking stall. So, if you happen to have to park in the office area or along the sidewalk because there is NO PARKING at all late at night, you will be towed...at a price of $200+. Finally, there is not an assigned parking stall per apartment, tenants must pay for parking separate from the zillion other fees this apartment complex requires, which includes a ridiculously expensive media package with internet service that is iffy. In retrospect, the experience has been without tremendous integrity or true customer care from the beginning as they showed us one apartment and assigned /rented another one completely different to the one shown to us. It set the tone for the entire two year experience. I would not live here again.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Find another place. This place only cares about money. Sure they look nice, but very cheaply made. If people are talking outside by your apartment is sounds like they are in your apartment. Floors and walls are super thin. Unless you live on the top floor or if no one is living above you, you will have noise above you all the time. They also don't take care of there apartments. I had paint globs everywhere some of the appliances looked like they had been dragged down the road then put in the apartment. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Also stay away from apartments that are affiliated with this apartment, cause they only care about money.
