This is a great school. Also Ella White does not work in the main office as a secretary. So if he can not get that fact right how much credit can you give him who to write a review like this must clearly have gone to the school and yet payed so little attention that he did not even learn his own administrators names yet can say all of these negative things without a doubt. And no just so that it is clear I have never and do not currently desire to more at this establishment.
The CPS is a warm community filled with caring teachers & it almost feels like an independent school with the depth and breath of curriculum and program available to students. The opportunity to attend k(or even pk) through 8 on a single campus, within a community where every child is known and cared for is a true blessing for our child.
if you get past the subpar principal, the tired staff members, the y=mx+b slope of downhill the school is going, you still get a slightly better experience than that of an inner city school. in other words steer clear.
The school is a good public school with small classes however the plaza where kids play at lunch is very hot and causes many injuries also some teachers are awful others are good though
