Large, beautiful library with an excellent kids area. Borrowers are able to request books online, and if they don't have it they will do an interlibrary loan and get it sent to Cary for you which is great. There's a lot of librarians to offer assistance, but they also have self check setup, so you can scan your library card and check out your own items. As someone who moves around a lot because of my husband's job, I have been to a ton of libraries in a ton of different states... Cary Memorial Library is one of the best I've seen.
