Lovely quiet campground. This is not a tourist rv park so don’t go excepting extravagance. This is a nice place to relax, no one to bother you, spaces aren’t crowded. Extremely nice owner. I would choose this place over Carolina crossroads any day.

Have stayed with the Ponderosa family every spring for the past fifteen years. Greg and his girls are like family. I call the Ponderosa home for sixty days...all of April and May, while I guide for striped bass on the Roanoke River, which is very close to the campground. Family friendly, quiet, and perfectly manicured, you will love the Ponderosa. Feels like home every time I pull in the drive.
