Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke

We just enjoyed a great stay here from start to finish! Compliments and thanks to Jeremy E, whose professionalism and friendliness at check-in made us feel like welcome and valued guests. The cooked to order breakfast was delicious; in fact, my omelet was the best one I can remember having. The service at breakfast was also fast and friendly. Our rooms were quiet, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with great mountain views. We look forward to staying here next time we are in Roanoke!

Wonderful hotel! Everything so far has been ideal. It is very beautiful inside! Staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are very nice and clean, beds are beyond comfortable, and the overall ambiance of this hotel is simply divine! I'm a frequent traveler and loved this hotel. Customer service was GREAT. They didn't let you waiting for anything. Anything I asked for I recieved within 2-10 minutes. The bed was so comfortable. It reminded me of my own bed. I will definitely use this hotel again.

ONLY STAY ON THE TOP FLOOR. If you stay on the top it will be a very comfortable stay. If not it will sound like the people above you are stomping around; it's just an issue with the building.

I was torn between rating this at 2 stars or 3 stars. I gave it 3 stars, though, because even though the negative was really negative, there were positive things as well. First, the positive:nn- The hotel was very clean despite being pet-friendly. Compared with other pet-friendly hotels, you wouldn’t even know it was pet-friendly because of how well maintained the hotel appeared to be.n- The room was spacious. We stayed in a single king business suite and it had plenty of space. My wife and I felt like we were renting a quaint studio apartment for the weekend. (And we mean that as a compliment.)n- The views were pretty great from on top of the hill that the hotel is situated on. The last night we were there, the sunset views from the room as the sun fell below the nearby mountain peaks was extremely impressive.n- The staff was very nice and professional.n- The contactless digital door keys through the Hilton Honors app were very convenient.nnNow, for the bad. There was really only one bad thing to say about this hotel, but it’s a pretty major sticking point:nnThe bed was extremely uncomfortable. A hotel can be many different things and all of those things contribute to the overall enjoyment of the stay. But, if a hotel doesn’t have a comfortable bed, then that ruins the experience no matter how good the other positives are. Both my wife and I spent our entire weekend tense with headaches, and feeling like a blanket a fatigue was covering us because the bed was not restful at all.nnDespite the great views, professional staff, and spacious room layout, my wife and I will be looking for accommodations elsewhere The next time we are in town.
