Great place, hands down!! All loved it: kids, teenagers, and adults. Spacious place and perfect for a week or weekend get away, very clean, and well maintained. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this place. Love it:)

This house is INCREDIBLE. It met our group's needs and was spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. It feels remote yet is close to the town of Luray (within a 20 minute drive). The drive to the house follows the river, a relaxing introduction to a peaceful weekend retreat. A perfect spot for a secluded stay with access to local activities. It is less than 30 minutes away from Thornton Gap entrance to the Shenandoah National Park! We really enjoyed the large bonfire pit and meals on the porch. Great view from that part of the house. The space was very clean and the bedrooms also very comfortable. I would definitely visit with a group again! Plus, the house manager was very helpful and easy to communicate with during our stay.

The Wescott House is a great place for a weekend getaway and has everything a large party needs. Honestly, we had 34 people and still had plenty of room. It was secluded and had all the amenities needed. I will say the response time of the property manager was not the greatest and the snow on the walkways and driveway was a hazard. The house should have ice-melt handy to lay out and the driveway could have been better plowed for our vehicles.nOne car had to be pulled out. Other than that, overall it was a great stay and I would return.

Giving a five star review was the easiest thing I've done in a while. From start to finish, property team were helpful, responsive and professional. Our family reunions happen infrequently and the home away from home was everything and more! Perfectly located. We didn't want to leave!
