Although we woke up at 5am to get here in time for the sunrise, it was 100% worth it. It's insanely beautiful to watch the sun rise, and if you can make it, then do it. This overlook especially is amazing, with a clear view of the sky above and the mountains below. Truly magical!
There are different spots where we can get scenic view on the way. Just needs right weather to enjoy and stay there for little longer admiring beauty of nature.
I loved this place. It was $30.00 to get into the park but it definitely worth it. The views were fantastic. I will definitely be going back here.
Beautiful. We've been on the blue ridge parkway several times but have never been on skyline drive. Loved it.
