Wonderful dinning experience. Owners and staff are very friendly and the food is very, very delicious with great flavor profiles! Can't wait to experience this again. Amazing!

What an EXPERIENCE!!!! Best multi-course dinner I’ve had EVER. I should say We’ve had. The four of us went to Three Blacksmiths restaurant on April 1st to see what the hype was. I had made reservations back in September of 2020 and we were so curious to see why people wait this long to get a table.... what could be so different?!? We’ve been to many fine restaurants in the US and Europe, but never waited 6 months for a table. So, on April 1st, my daughter came from NYC (yes, to go to 3 Blacksmiths) and we took our 1:15 drive to Sperryville. Took the side and scenic roads to get there and that was amazing by itself.nWe arrived and walked into a beautifully decorated room with about 20 seats. Very warm and cozy. And the experience began. The owners, John and Diane, were hovering over the clients’ tables the entire three hours serving us with masterly prepared courses that mostly sourced from local farms. The service, the ambiance, the decor, the taste, the wine... even the bread and the spreads, matched one another so harmoniously that you could not find any faults or shortcomings!!! We had fun, we had delicious food, great wine pairing, all at a reasonable cost.nThe experience was so grand that none of us even thought of the 1:15 hour drive back. The entire time we were talking about their team, the pasta, how beautiful and comfortable it was...nThis is probably the second or third time I have ever written any reviews for anything!!! And I’m not a writer as you can see!!!! But the experience is still alive in me a week later. That says a lot.n8 Thumbs Up to John, Diane, the chefs... everyone! They have done a superb job creating a culinary experience for foodies in the middle of beautiful Virginia!!! Bravo!

Great and tasty food, I liked the atmosphere this place has, and the workers were nice. Will surely visit here again.

This is certainly one of the best dining experiences you'll have in the D.C. region. My wife and I have been 3 times and have loved each meal. All 3 have been completely different, but equally amazing, especially considering the perfectly curated wine pairings. The owners are extremely pleasant and personable. They make ample time to converse with all patrons and personally serve most of the dishes. If you can get a reservation, you should definitely go.
