It's been a while since my wife and I have dined at the River Company since our experiences in the past were less than favorable. A friend of ours decided that for his birthday he wanted a steak and a beer and chose the River company. We were pleasantly surprised. The steaks were perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful. For dessert, we opted for the bread pudding. That too was a winner. Yes, the food and service has definitely improved since our last visit.

This place is beautiful...The inside had a lovely fire place, nice bathrooms & outside had a nice view. Ate lunch with the family, everyone enjoyed the food. My daughters really liked the waitress we had, she was super friendly :)

Those of you who have not tried the River Company, really should give it a look. While we do not eat there regularly, it is a place we enjoy going, and based on our experience Saturday for dinner, is one we will visit more often. The food was flavorful, and well prepared. They were easily able to accommodate our group of 5 for dinner at 5:30, with no wait, a refreshing delight considering the wait at TX Roadhouse was almost 2 hrs. We had ribeyes, filet minion, spicy shrimp pasta, and a smothered burger. Each dish was cooked exactly as ordered, and might be the first time in many restaurant trips that it was so good no to go boxes were needed. The biggest surprise though, was the pricing, as the dishes all ran between $18 - $24, with the burger at $14. Dupont let the thought of thinking you will pay a fortune to eat here as the menu is competitive with other areas choices. We will definitely be back, sooner than later!

Grear food. Nice beer selection of craft brews. Burgers are from their own farm.

This is a great place for an enjoyable meal and we looking forwardnour return without the stress of the pandemic. Soon I hope.
