Akida was an awesome travel agent!!! She looked for the most affordable cruise within my family’s budget, answered questions I had about the ship we were sailing out on, and about the ports we were to visit. I’m looking forward to working with her in the future for upcoming vacations.
Akida has been a gem since day one! She helped me answer all of the millions of questions I’ve had! This is my first cruise, and I don’t know what I would’ve done if I didn’t have someone as helpful as her! I WILL be using her services again!
If I could give less tan zero stars I would! If you want to have your VERY expensive dream vacation nearly ruined by a travel agent who has no idea what they’re doing, then by all means book with Akida Mayfield at Cruise Planners in Chester, VA! She will take your money, then provide no assistance whatsoever when you’re bumped from the flight she pushed you into booking by insisting it’s the only one available (Big Lie #1) Then when you miss the first day of your cruise after having to buy all new plane tickets, she will tell you she is working with Land2Sea to assist you, but not really do it, so you’ll get nothing from them either (Big Lie #2). Then she will tell you that you can recoup some of your lost funds if you file a claim with the worthless travel insurance she insisted you buy, only to find out that is also a big lie and you get nothing. (Big Lie #3). Save yourself a lot of misery, money, and heartache, and book the cruise and flights yourself! Stay away from Cruise Planners, Chester, VA!
Akida was very attentive to our wants and needs for our family vacation. She booked us a great cruise that was family oriented and within our budget. I definitely highly recommend!
