Absolutely beautiful! We only did shore fishing. It looked like the boat fishing would be even more fun!

One of my favorite places to fish by myself or with the kids..nWe always have a great time either on the boat or kayaks..nPretty good access for bank fishing too I guess always seems to be people there..nI've seen many beautiful sunsets there

Northeast Creek Reservoir is an all gravel drive and boat ramp. Tons of space to turn your vehicle and boat around to back down the ramp. After very heavy rains the rainwater cuts a ditch down through the boat ramp but is mostly easily avoidable. Lots of space for parking up above the ramp as well. The fishing is great and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, people like to litter the banks all around the reservoir a lot. So you may have times where you encounter a bunch of trash. That's just a people problem though. Also, you need a permit to fish here which you can purchase through the Louisa Water Authority or Maddox Feed Store in the town of Louisa!

My bo and I spent all day wondering around and fishing. Views are beautiful and lily pads are abundant. Try for weekends lures if you're fishing from shores!
