Me and my wife have been going to the settle for many years so many I can't even remember when we started, we have always brought our pets and walk them and had fun now I have a service dog that has been trained put on and off leash obedient and has all his service dog credentials it was his first time and he loved the place as did my wife and I
Beautiful scenery of the mountains and grassy slopes! It also provides a quick respite to get out and stretch your legs.
Motorcycle, nice scenery.
One of the view points with breathtaking sites on either side. Its totally worth it to take the trails on either side of the lookout. One side takes you about two minutes through the woods before opening up into a large pasture with beautiful views. On the opposite side is a bit longer of a path with a gradual uphill climb before reaching the remains of an abandoned cabin and more beautiful views.
I went tonight and it has a dark, rainy, cloudy night and it was still beautiful. The way the fog sat on the mountains below made it look like an ocean, it was amazing. Check it out sometime, maybe even in the daytime.
