Love hiking the trails at Rocky knob. This is a beautiful spot! There are so many wonderful things to see and experience along the whole trail that I'm never bored of hiking it again and again. But the overlook would make a lovely lunch spot. ud83dude0a

Spectacular views along a wonderful Fall Foliage trip down The Blue Ridge Parkway. Many gorgeous stops with great scenic vistas. Highly recommend this trip.

Love this overlook. Great place to park and hike the Rock Castle Gorge loop trail and others. Pics are from October 31st on the RCG loop between this overlook and Rocky Knob.

Loved coming up here last summer to watch the Sunrise. Great view anytime of day! Not a steep drop off so it is safe...tons of deer grazing nearby. Beautiful views of Sunrise. Others there. Friendly atmosphere.

Beautiful view of the Blue Ridge mountains. Altitude at about 3000 feet above sea level.
