Excellent . Good library to borrow books

Terrible customer service, not helpful at all. I went to the library earlier today and asked how the whole e book situation works and the lady there, who definitely seemed like she didn't know what she was doing, told me that i needed to go online and download the app that belongs to the book distributing company and create an account using my library card. I checked out another book that i needed and said thank you to the lady that was helping me. So i come home and download this app and begin to create an account. everything is going smoothly until it asks me for my pin number. I did not know my pin number (still don’t) so i googled what a pin number is and the first thing to pop up was “the last four digits of your birthday, aka your birth year” so thats what i typed in. it didn't work. I later realized that it varies among libraries and can be any four numbers. Then i googled specifically what a person’s pin number is for the MFRL Blacksburg library. Turns out its a combination of four numbers that they give you when your first create your card. I created my car when i was in elementary school, probably in fourth grade, I am now a high school sophomore, I do not remember my pin or even recall the library giving me one. I went to the library website and tried to reset my pin(three times) by entering my card number. the site said that I should receive an email soon. its been about an hour and i still haven’t received an email.And i asked the library lady update my phone number, address, and email, which she did, before i left the library. Not only have I done that, I have called the library four times, texted the “contact us” number on the site, and even sent a little message on the ask us questions(or something like that) tab on the library website. In conclusion, these library ladies literally do not know what they’re doing and apparently do not know how to answer a phone and help those people who desperately need help. i also am not able to go back to the library to receive my pin because i don't have a drivers license and neither of my parents are home ud83dude43. I hope that this library can take some notes based off this review.

Kind staff and great service. Plenty of help for planning events and they offer amazing digital content. Very modern for a local library.
