My server was Constance today. I had grilled catfish, turnip greens and mashed potatoes with dumplin' gravy. So satisfying after driving five hours. Food was hot and delicious.nNot all patrons were wearing masks but the store was not crowded so distancing was not a problem.nI was able to find a gift for my little niece for under five dollars!
So we walk in upon opening at 7:00 a.m. it was 23uff9f outside and they had a roaring fire going in the fireplace! Food was good however my fiance's breakfast was cold so they replaced the eggs and the food actually was delayed because the printer broke and Nobody caught the mess up so they took off one of our Meals for all the issues ( i didnt ask for any discount!) but overall still a great place to come and eat. Great service as wellnThe general store is always a pleasure even though there were some issues I still was a very happy camper eating here today!
Overall great service and food at this location. Spotted the sign as I pulled off the highway. Its tucked into a service road on the left. This is quite usual in mountain country.nnHad a typical sampler breakfast, made to order. Was seated promptly. The staff seem super experienced here.nnHard to beat this chain, but this is top of the line. That reflects upon the management.
We were told that the wait time was 10 minutes, but we had to wait over 30 minutes. When we were seated we had to wait 10 minutes for our waitress. Then she took our drink order and waited again. She didn't get the drink order correct. It took forever for her to take our order, then she came back and said they were out of the Pot Roast, mind you it was 3 pm. Will not return
The waitress Liz S. made our experience a very pleasant one. The food was awesome
