The restaurant and gift shop was phenomenal. The restaurants stuffed pork loin with corn bread stuffing was very tasty, my wife had the buttons & bows. For dessert grandma's buttermilk brownie was very chocolaty. We will definitely be back again.

A friend recommended that we stop here for lunch to break up a long road trip. If not told about it, we would not have found this little gem! It is off the beaten path a bit--not much but located out of the way where it's not obvious. It is an original 1776 log home with whimsical charm, friendly staff, cozy fireplace (which rescued us on a bone-cold Winter day), and decent food. If you travel through here, give it a visit. Push past the main drag and come here. They have a gallery and gift shop, too.

Thank you for a wonderful dinner. Great presentation and our meals were so good.. What a great find for just passing through. Hope u have a lot of events at your restaurant, it is perfect especially for a wedding.

I’d recommend coming here not only for the food, but for the ambiance and decor. I do not think the photos fully capture how unique and pretty this restaurant is. They have an amazing gift shop in the back, doves in a very large glasses room, multiple levels, and quite a few other things which I can’t do justice describing in a review. This is well worth the pit stop.

Awesome little place with good history. Biggest piece of catfish ive ever seen in a restaurant. Stuffed squash was great as was corn pudding. Wife had steak was really good and cooked perfectly
