We got take-out from here for the first time tonight and it was wonderful! The serving size was huge for the platter and all parts of it were delicious. I got the tofu curry and pork. The kale side was so good. It's priced well and pick up was easy. Highly recommend!
Wow, the food was delicious! It was truly such a treat. The staff were super friendly. Huge portions and unique flavors. We will be back!
This was a superb eatery. The plantains are absolutely decadent, deep fried but with just the right balence of taste and health that you feel happy AND like you are making a good decision. Otherwise, the rest of the contents of the bowl were all quite good in their own right (minus the salad dressing, it was a bit off) and when combined made for quite a tasty mix at a more than reasonable price. Skip the roots hype and swing over here for an eating experience that will likely make you want to become a regular.
INCREDIBLE food and AMAZING staff! The prices are more than reasonable considering the generous portions and the flavors never disappoint. (And don't miss out on Oxtail Friday!)
If you haven't eaten here, you should (and if you have, you know how good it is!)... Pearl Island offers generous portions of authentic cuisine and the staff are very friendly. I look forward to the rotating specials to try something new, but the regular menu items are exceptional every time! Enjoy!
