Had a concussion recently and the therapist went out of his way to call one of his contacts and get recommendations for neurologists that could help me, offered to help me in any way he could.

Excellent facility to recover from sports and non-sports related injury. The professional rehab are sports medicine academics and very knowledgeable with significant experience (University of Virginia athletics, NFL). Performance Place strikes the balance of pushing one with encouragement and hard work. The administrative staff are friendly, encouraging and are great at facilitating the best schedule for each individual.nnI highly recommend this option for maximum benefits during recovery!

Absolutely the best, most professional, educated and experienced Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine office in Charlottesville or perhaps Virginia. Lloyd, a former NFL PT, is caring, gentle when he needs to be, extremely knowledgeable and professional in all respects. I came to him with a frozen shoulder following rotator cuff surgery and the results in the first week alone were astounding - especially considering the care I received from others in town. I would most highly recommend him for any complex or serious injury where you simply want the best.

Charges way too much. Over $200 out of pocket per visit! Find somewhere else to go at a more reasonable rate.
