Had to stop here at 2am on the way to FL from OH with my wife and 5 kids. Super easy check in, clean room, great price. What made it perfect is they still keep a Bible next to the bed. God is so good! Jesus is the only way to the Father and they remind us of His sacrifice outside with 3 giant wood crosses ❤

I just wanted to give a perfect review at Big walker Motel. We stayed there 2 different times & both times, both rooms were clean in every corner, crevice etc. Hospitality was so comfortable, nothing but peace & quiet, everything U need is right there. No complaints whatsoever & we'd just left the Hilton in Daytona Beach. I'd much rather had Big walkers Motel on the beachfront....ud83dude01 Going back again soon... If you're planning on traveling through you should do the same. It's BEAUTIFUL! THE OWNER IS 1 OF THE NICEST PPL IVE MET. THANK YOU

Great place, wonderful owner. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenience store and Dairy Queen down the hill. Clean rooms, some with tubs, some with stand up showers. Micro and fridge. Great views.

It felt save,room was clean,owner very nice. Love that you can park out front of your room,so handy. Bed was comfortable as well. My husband and I will stay again this was our 2nd time. March 1 2021

Good motel, good price, good views. I stayed at this motel (for the first time) on a Monday night in October 2020. It was good. No complaints. Since this is a motor lodge, I was able to park in front of my room, which is good for social distancing during a pandemic: no corridors, no elevators. I especially enjoyed the views from the outdoor seating near the room: views of mountains, valleys, and the interstate. Great place to count trucks. But who does that? When I awoke in the morning, the view was very interesting because fog was nestled in all the valleys, creating a beautiful and unusual picture. This motel is high up on a hill. Lower down on the hill, almost adjacent to the motel, is a gas station with large convenience store. This does not ruin the view entirely, but it does provide a useful service for travelers. The motel is located in Bland, VA. I suppose the area is quite bland if you are a teenager looking for exciting things to do in a remote, rural area. But for me, the awesome mountain scenery is the attraction. I would definitely stay here again.
