We broke down on the highway headed back to Iowa. We absolutely loved this place! Good drinks and even better food. Awesome staff and friendly atmosphere. Well needed stop after a long day, even got to meet some awesome locals there! If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely make it a point to stop back in.

Great place I love to visit when we are in town. I've been coming for years, we use to always eat at the Virginian before UVa football games so it has a special place in my heart. I love the club and selection of beers on tap. I recommend the Love from Starr Hill.

Decided to stop here since they had great reviews. However it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. We got sat at the smallest booth I've ever seen also had nails sticking out of it. The food was bland and generic. The server was more concerned about talking with her coworkers than giving decent service. I will never go here again.

The aesthetic is nice. It has a comphy feel to it, the sort of place that it feels like you can expect an exact sort of people at the same times each week, a sense of regularity to it that just feels nice and reassuring. The food, I am sad to say, was somewhat unremarkable. The mac and cheese was nice, but it fell far from the hype I had been exposed to. The French fries were pretty good, but I think this might have something to do with the sea of salt placed on them. I will say that I tried a part of the La Casa burger, and the pimento cheese was quite good, if the burger weren't raw like it was just cut off the cow I might have even said it was really good. 2 star food, 5 star aesthetic, 4 stars to average (partly in hopes of the fourth year mimosas on Sunday).

Great stop while at UVA. 1/2 pound burgers and VA microbrews. Nice servers.nMac and cheese was really good.nCool location on “the corner”
