All you have to do is look at the Google picture, thats a contractors home? Even if he took pride in his own home don't waste your time on this guy, hes a complete nut job and will give you every excuse in the world his work isn't ever done correctly.
Did a good job replacing some rotted wood siding, so we brought him back to do interior paint and repair work to get our house in perfect condition for selling. We told him that we could do the work ourselves, but we wanted to hire him to ensure it was done faster and more professionally. He promised to be done in time, and then after we signed a contract the late excuses started coming. We were sympathetic and repeatedly said to let us know ASAP if he needed to cancel all or part of the job so we could finish it ourselves, but he kept saying it would get done in time no problem. We ended up doing an open house with sloppy, half-done work. We had already gone out of town so the house could be shown, so he promised to come back and finish it and clean up all the sloppy work that had been done. When we came back several weeks later, we discovered he had finished (most of) the job but never corrected all the sloppy, amateur work and mess he had created. We had been showing it this way for weeks! He had no problem showing up on time to collect his money and after I showed him all his bad work he agreed to take a few hundred off the price. But a few hundred dollars isn’t enough to fix the work and make up for the stress he put our family through.
