I went to this church in 1988 or 1989 it was a long time ago. The pastor was a white woman with short gray hair. My parents and I use to live in Templeton. My father was a military officer. I was pregnant and was sent to an unwed shelter in Boston to give up my baby. I did leave my daughter in the hospital for two days, however, no paperwork was signed. I called and checked on my infant, and the nurse stated she was going to foster care because they had no one to adopt her yet. I changed my mind and walk several miles to this church. My parents were away and I did not tell them I changed my mind. When I got to the church. I met this pastor and told her my story. She was like an angel. She gave me money to catch a bus to boston and gave me a ride to the station. I got my baby back this pastor invited me to her house and gave me a whit crib that belong to a member of her family. She baptized my daughter Julia and introduced her to the church . God bless hr wherever she is.
