Sugarcamp Trails are a beautiful challenge. They are no joke. If you are looking for a challenging ride, it is here. Great technical down hill sections. Some wonderful views looking towards West Virginia.nnOnce all the down hill fun is over, you basically just climb back out of the crater you just descended into. And the climb is intense for sure. Its about 1400ft of elevation and the loop we took wasnt quite 12 miles. Needless to say we got everything we came for and then some.nnWould definitely come back, though in better shape to climb.
Interesting trails. Very clean while we were there. Definitely planning another visit or two.

My favorite hiking spot I've found in our part of the state. An absolute gem.
This is absolutely the best trail system within 100 miles of me. The guys hand built these trails and keep them maintained voluntarily. There are a couple of trails for beginners, lots for mid-skilled, and several for advanced. If you love mtb(or hiking) and you live anywhere remotely close or just passing through, you gotta shred these. Added bonus, if you look them up on Facebook, the guys are awesome about helping you know what to expect.
