Diamond park at Mekena/Big beach is a joke. They are scamming people, their mobile app does not work. Their card machine says processing until it times out and does not print a ticket. If you call the posted number and give your information to the automated system and receive a text confirmation that it was completed they still put a ticket on your vehicle. If you call or email the local office no one answers. There are long lines in the afternoons because no one can work the machines. This is a poorly ran system that sets up consumers for failure and it feels like just a cash grab. Most larger cities require people to pay for parking but it’s usually user friendly and there are multiple ways to provide payments.

We paid to park all day in the lot advertising the lowest parking prices in Lahaina, we placed the receipt face up on the dash and still got a ticket from the company with 45 minutes of parking. I emailed the local representative with a copy of our receipt and the ticket and they replied the next day saying the ticket was cancelled.
