Lurv this place, even though I don't work there no more.
Some of the employees are nicer than others. The meat here is sometimes questionable and very brown...decent discounts on various items each week. If you’re in town for a while it’s best to get your frozen and dry food here and the weekly fruit and veggie bag from You Say Tomato. If you don’t see a certain item you can put in a request with management to ask if they’ll start to carry it. Great information bulletin board in the entrance.
Very helpful and friendly staff, they have maintained a positive attitude throughout the shutdown. They are much appreciated!
It's not far from the pier but far enough away that you don't get gouged for being a tourist. It's on the small side (compared to our local grocery store) so the selection isn't huge, but they have a pretty good selection of snacks and the prices are much better than what they charge on the cruise ship. I'm sure I'll pop in to stock up on gummi bears next time I'm in Skagway.
Best place to buy water while in port in beautiful Skagway Alaska.
