The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I love that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is welcoming to all. They teach of our Savior Jesus Christ, and want all to hear his message of love and peace.

I attend this church each summer with my wife and children, we are always welcomed with open arms and friendly greetings. The members have become dear friends and the closest thing to family. I’m always grateful that where ever I go in the United States and abroad I can find the comfort of worshiping with fellow members. My family now lives on the island of Maui, West shore in the small town of Lahaina. Our congregation consists of about 150 members that attend regularly. I am however grateful and astonished how many visitors who are vacationing are motivated to gather their families and join us each Sunday. Our island has I believe six or seven chapels that visitors can attend convenient to which side of the island you may be vacationing on. I only mention this so that you can appreciate that our chapel is attended only by a portion of visitors vacationing on the island. These last months of December and January we had visitors in number of over 600 that means a Sunday service of over 750 in attendance. Our building was replaced five years ago because of the growing number of visitors and we are already over capacity. Sadly Christianity is declining in our country which can be easily noticed on our island. What is it about the Church if Jesus Christ if Latter Day Saints that inspires such devotion? If you’ve never attend this church, I invite you to see for yourself......visitors are always welcomed and comfortable among them regardless of your faith or belief. The Enterprise members here are a wonderful reflection and representation of the Church of the Church if Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Our family is grateful for the various Christian congregations of various faiths in this beautiful valley we we are also grateful for the members of our faith among them.
