Efficient, patient and thorough. Very pleased with the Doctor. He removed a skin tag from my daughter's eyelid. Four stars given only because his assistant that does the eye exam didn't introduce herself to me, the mom, or to my daughter and because her eye exam was way to rapid to be an accurate eye exam. We will not be returning for an eye exam as long as she is there.

Very thorough, pleasant and professional. My daughter had a serious eye injury, and he has done an excellent job.

I had an appointment scheduled one morning for my son. I was only able to stay for about half of my appointment because I had to go to work. Since Dr. Mckinnon was running late, his assistant did everything she could do and then had us go back out to the waiting room until Dr McKinnon could get to us. I apologized and explained my situation to the receptionist, who was very apologetic and kind. I figured i would just have to reschedule. While I was at work, i received a voicemail from his assistant who gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him at that number if i got off after hours, which i did. I called him after i got off work, and he offered to come open the office again so that he could finish examining my son himself! He was very thorough, despite the late hour, and was able to explain my sons situation so that i could understand it in a way no other doctor had been able to. I would recommend him! ***note**** probably don't expect him to open his office for everyone every single time something happens. i tell this story to show his exceptional customer service and ability to go above and beyond, not to set an expectation that everyone should abuse. *****

Had a hard time convincing my husband to switch offices for eye care, but once he experienced the great care and time spent on all of his questions, he was grateful he switched. I received life-changing cataract surgery here and would recommend Dr. McKinnon to anyone with vision concerns.

To begin with I was impressed by receptionist. Polite & understanding. It's been over a year since my last visit, but from her desk back to see the Doctor I have nothing but good to say. Dr. McKinnon was very thorough , I have a unrelated medical condition he took the time to look up my conditions & answered my questions even though it had to have set him back on his schedule. He's been my optometrist since 2000. I was always impressed, but this last visit I realized just how much he cares about his patients.
