Old Mill District

Nice walk along the river. Weather was awesome. I really like this area of Bend. I just did some window shopping and enjoyed the beautiful day. Took the dogs with us. Plenty of outdoor seating all around and no issues with other dogs. Apparently this is a pretty dog friendly area, or at least it was when we were there. I'll be visiting again.

Great place to shop along the waterfront. There is a peaceful path to walk or ride bikes along the river. Great restaurants and shop line the walkway. Many of the restaurants offer outside dining which is nice when the weather is amiable. The anchor store being REI with the unmistakable skyline of a mill, is a great 2-story location that is well stocked and offers great ambiance.

Very busy hard to find parking

A nice market area full of shops and restaurants next to the river. Take a walk along the river and read the signs about the mills that used to inhabit this area. A great improvement would be to have local shops rather than the same ones you find in any other city...but it's a nice area anyway.
