Update: Had the office manager personally reach out to me to resolve this issue and assured me the rest of the staff would be informed of the situation and how to handle it better in the future. I really appreciated the way Jill handled everything.nnHad a really sad experience here. There’s only one PT office in Bend that’s in network for my insurance company, and when I finally jumped through all the hoops to get the referral needed so they would cover it, the receptionist who called was incredibly unwilling to help make sure they were in network. She kept insisting I would have to cash pay because of my type of insurance and didn’t even bother to check if Alpine or their parent group was part of the network. Just honestly super disappointing to be discriminated against because my insurance required a little extra work. I desperately need PT but because of this one woman’s lack of compassion to at least try and help I’m left high and dry. If you have an option I go elsewhere, I would. Which is too bad because the therapists here came highly recommended and it’s unfortunate their office staff are not in the business of helping people as well.
