Petsense

I am very disappointed especially in their customer service! I have run my own stores as a GM and never made it to where I had a dissatisfied customer walk out my store upset. I asked for crickets she said the truck should be there very soon. Ok I had to look for other things. After the shipment was dropped off I was literally told she couldn’t get to them right now cause she other things and that she had to separate them. I get it but Um excuse me?! You could have did that to not only get that task out the way especially if the customer is willing to wait a min or two or just simply did it. Rule of thumb is that u never tell a customer that even when u are swamped with shipment. Or a busy store. Either choose your words wisely not to piss someone off or kindly just explain and offer a different solution! Trust me I get how it feels to be the only one working but I not once EVER in my entire career told a customer I couldn’t get to something especially when it was within reach. Not only that this place is beyond expensive! The items I bought today would not have been as much as I paid if I went somewhere else! Which however I guess will be spending more in gas to get what my pets need due to POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! And I will be complaining to Corporate!

I had a 2 o'clock pet appointment and got there at 1:50 to be told the groomer is at lunch until 2:30. I left my dog a little upset, felt I should of been contacted about the delay. Came back at 4 to check the status of him and no groomer. She was on break. So work for 1 1/2 hours and get break? Then when she did come back in she said I still 5 minutes left on him. I have been bringing this dog here for years. I am thinking of finding a new groomer.nnr years and had great service until today. Today makes want to find a new groomer.

I want to give them a -5 but its not on there. I took my little chahuahua to be groomed told them I wanted it all done. When I got there the groomer wasn't there but did show up. When I picked up my baby his nails were all different lengths and super sharp, he smelled just like he did when I dropped him off and was shaking badly. When I mentioned the length and the sharpness they said well filing is extra and said nothing about how he smelled she said the good smelling stuff is extra and offered me no discount so I said I would never be back there again. Terrible place I do not reccomend them and the store is over priced.

I love this little store! I love how kind and knowledgeable every employee is and knowing that they remember what we need and can tell us at the door if what we're looking for is in stock and asks how much we need today. I'm sure they see thousands of customers each month but yet they know what species of animals we have and are always willing to offer advice or answer questions we might have. The best part is on the slim chance they don't know the answer they will pull out their phone and find the answers we seek. The only problem I ever have is that they run out of reptile food (crickets and worms) nearly every week and despite their desire to remedy this issue corporate won't allow them to order more. Despite this issue this is still my favorite pet store and I'm a custumer for life!

I gave 4 stars because Petsense is a bit pricey on some things, very pricey on a few things, and they randomly stop carrying products???? I had been buying my dog food there for almost a year and they just randomly stopped carrying that entire product line. Having a dog with allergies of course, that left me to find another food to put her on and of course their only option was half again more expensive. So I have sourced my dog food elsewhere now, but still go to Petsense for certain other pet supplies. Their staff is always kind and as helpful as they can be, so they have earned all 4 stars.
