Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. To give some perspective, the last person I contracted for work is in prison for fraud. After being put off several times for a start date I was told to tear out bathroom as tile installers were ready to go. That was a lie. Bathroom sat idle for entire week. Finally Chris showed up to put in 2 half days work. The third day he was to finish job, but suddenly realized it was his anniversary and he would spend day w his wife. It's the start of week 3 and I still have no bathroom. Other attempts by Townsend Flooring to find someone else who could finish the job have been halfhearted, at best. These business practices are inexcusable if I could give negative star review, I would.
Didn’t stretch the carpet. We had to replace it after a year. The stuff they used to nail down the carpet would stab us when ever we walk through the doorways.
