Dr. John Z. Carter, MD

Dr. Carter and his office are without a doubt the most professional and consciencious doctor's office my husband and I have been in and that has been a LOT of doctor's offices. My husband has been ill for 15 years and has had as many as 11 specialists at one time. Dr. Carter has overseen his health for the last couple of years and is always available and thinking ahead as to what he might need. He is a very caring and empathic doctor and his staff is exceptional. If it wasn't for Dr. Carter there is a chance my husband would not be here today. He is an excellent doctor and only refers you to the best specialist in the city. I would, without a doubt refer Dr. Carter and his office to any of my friends needing specialized medical care. He is a wonderful man/doctor!

I have written these each time you asked. No change. I've been with Dr. John Z. Carter for 24 years. I really can't afford the MD/VIP costs, but I have no choice because I will NOT leave Dr. Carter.

Dr Carter is a caring, thorough physician who is very knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain the results of testing and makes recommendations based on that testing. He is very aware of drug interactions. And best of all, if you are prepared, he will answer all of your questions to the best of his ability and take the time to make sure you understand. For me personally, he have referred me to very good specialists and I have been very satisfied.

Dr. John Z Carter and staff are the best PERIOD!! I'm not an easy patient (meaning I have a lot of underlying issues) and I've had a fear of Doctors because of how I was treated in the past, Dr Carter has a way about him that put me at ease with him and myself from my first visit. Dr. Carter is one of the first Doc's that actually listened to me about my past Medical History and what I was going through at the time (that's rare) Believe me I've had some really abusive Dr's that had no compassion and would rather prescribed me some pills than deal with me and my chronic pain. Dr Carter and his staff got all my medical records X-rays, MRI's etc and remembered the things I told him about what I wanted to accomplish inspite of my pain. We came up with a plan to decrease meds that I didn't need and increase my mobility and self-esteem by looking into what I can do. I have limitations and come to accept that but with his support and encouragement and trying different things we found what works for me. I still have to take medication ( closely monitored) I owe so much to him and his staff. I've done what we agreed to do but it takes a special kinda Dr to be so diligent and caring. I was referred to Dr. Carter from friends. At first I was skeptical about joining such a program, but with my underlying conditions and a push from my wife I joined MDVIP. After interviewing Dr. Carter and deciding to join MDVIP I have been nothing but 100% satisfied with Dr. Carter, his staff and his facility. Thanks for all you have done and are doing.
