I have bought 3 tall clocks from this shop and the family owned business is one of the most knowledgeable in the world and highly reputable. You will see John on Antiques Road Show. Buying a clock there is an experience and not a transaction. I always learn something about clocks, travel & history. Its a step back in time, a museum, and great place to spend some time, and if your lucky, buy a clock with memories for a life time. One of my favorite places in the world. Do yourself a favor and visit this location.

I purchased an antique carriage clock from Delaney Antique Clocks several years ago. It has never run well. I returned the clock for repair and it remained there for almost a year while being repaired. Delaney had given it to another clock repair service to repair. When I finally did receive the clock it ran for several months and then began stopping again. I brought the clock to two local repair service and they charged me in excess of $1000 repairing the clock. It still never ran well or consistently. I finally brought the clock with me to a reputable clock shop in London this past year an they repaired in in a weeks time. All it needed was a good cleaning I was told. They told me it was never properly cleaned. This should situation should never happen with a reputable dealer. Delaney is that they said they had overhauled the clock prior to sale but this was obviously not accurate.

I am a newer customer of Delaneys, after my dad got me interested in antique clocks. Wow! What a wonderful collection of clocks. Not only are they beautiful, but the Delaney family is absolutely wonderful. No matter who is in that day. They are all so knowledgeable and warm and personable. It’s such a treat to pop in and see their clocks and to converse with them. A must see!!!!

I have been visiting this shop occasionally since I was 10, my mother loves antique clocks and has quite the collection from here. Every time we visit, it is pleasant, enchanting, educational, and we always end up having a long conversation with whoever happens to be in the shop that day. If you visit, make sure you are in there when all the clocks strike the hour- its AMAZING.
